10:00 a.m.: Sunday School and Children’s Chapel

The 8:15 a.m. service
uses Rite I* exclusively and the service is simple with
no music.

Lent and Advent.
Weekday Worship Schedule
Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m.: Holy Eucharist
with Healing
* Rite I & Rite II are forms of
worship found in the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). The
BCP contains all the standard spoken information of
a service including prayers, responses, and the words
of consecration. The
BCP permits all attending the service, even those not
familiar with the Episcopal liturgy, to follow along
and participate in the service.
The order of the service
is always the same with readings from the Bible followed
by the sermon, the prayers and then the Eucharist,
which is also called Holy Communion. At St. Dunstan's
anyone who has been baptized is welcome to receive
bread and wine. Others may participate by going to
the altar rail to receive a blessing.
Choirs
St. Dunstan's has four choirs from
September-June, and then a summer choir. The Adult
choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and sings at the
10:15 a.m. service every week. The Joy choir and Praise
choir (both children's choirs) sing at periodic
family services and throughout the year. Teens and
young at heart adults in the Spirit choir sing a blend
of contemporary and traditional music at family and
other special services. Everyone is welcome.
